Simon & Sue’s first coffee shop opens 6th Feb and they’re already planning what comes next.
The lucky people of Birmingham are about to have their coffee game taken to the next level.
Remember Simon and Sue Hedaux? I emailed you about their story a few months back. If you missed it, you can read more here: November 2025 News. The couple are both very experienced business consultants who saw something really special in the 92 Degrees franchise and have decided to go all in and plan to open multiple sites across the Midlands in the next few years.
Well, I heard this week that their vision is already becoming a reality.
Their very first 92 Degrees Coffee shop in Birmingham is in the final stages of fitting out and is set to open its doors on 6th February. The anticipation is building, the equipment is being installed, and pretty soon the people of Birmingham will be discovering first-hand what Damn Fine Coffee™ is really all about.
What kind of business owner do you see yourself as?
For Simon and Sue, the Birmingham launch is their first step towards becoming the kind of entrepreneurs they’ve always dreamed about, and anyone else considering a multi-unit investment in the coffee sector should pay close attention. This is a model with the scalability you need to build a substantial portfolio while still guaranteeing the quality and community connection which has already made existing sites so successful.
However, that’s not the only route to success with a 92 Degrees franchise. One of the most fantastic things about this franchise model is just how flexible it is, and just how much support is on offer to anyone who is ready to be a part of it.
It’s also the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in starting with just one coffee shop, getting to know the business, building their local community, perfecting their operations, and seeing the results for themselves. Some decide that one thriving location is exactly what they’re looking for, whilst others, once they’ve seen how well it works, start thinking about opening a second location, then a third.
The beauty of a 92 Degrees franchise is that it can support both approaches equally.
This isn’t just about coffee – it’s about people, too.
The 92 Degrees team have always put a huge emphasis on investing in their people, and doesn’t just mean their customers and staff – it means their franchisees, too.
Whether you’re opening your first coffee shop, or your fifth, they will always be there to support your growth as a business owner with ongoing training and operational guidance designed to help you build something truly remarkable. So, if you’re happy focusing on just one great location, or want to start there and see how it goes in terms of deciding about expansion later, they can help you make that happen. They’re not just interested in getting you open, they’re committed to helping you succeed long-term and build a bigger and better future.
Why don’t we have a chat about what that future could look like for you?
MICHAEL HULMES.
